Lenovo To Offer Mobile-Internet Video Service In The Future
China's biggest computer maker, Lenovo had taken a forward step into Internet video by partnership with SMG (Shanghai Media Group) to establish a new firm to provide Internet-video service. On Thursday, under an agreement of the joint venture, SMG owned 51 percent of the venture, and named Shanghai Video Cloud Company Limited, while Lenovo owns the remainder. The total investment of both parties in the new firm exceeded 10 million yuan (1.52 million U.S. dollars).

AT&T None Too Pleased With Your Illicit Tethering
Have you been tethering your smartphone without shelling out for AT&T's subscription plan? Your days appear to be numbered. The company has started cracking down on unauthorized tethering, sending out an obnoxious email that tells users to cut it out or they'll be automatically enrolled in a more expensive data plan. It will be interesting to see how this one plays out. It's something AT&T has every right to do, but is thought to be rather a dick move by users who feel they should be able to use their plans as they please.*
