Google Chrome Giving Out Free Airplane Wi-Fi for the Holidays

Last year, Google helped ease the pain of holiday travel by offering free Wi-Fi in many major U.S. airports. Now, the Google Chrome team is taking the deal to the skies with free wireless Gogo Internet on Airtrain Airways, Delta and Virgin America flights. The Wi-Fi hookup lasts from November 20th, 2010 to January 2nd, 2011, long enough to get you through the pains of Thanksgiving dinner to the post-New Year's Eve malaise.

HTCSense.com App Store Launching Soon?

It would appear that the cat is out of the bag as word is that HTC will be launching their own App Store which will provide their customers access to smartphone software as well as electronic book and magazine content.

The information came out through the Financial Times who were quoted as saying that HTC has already begun the process of finding “content editors” for their online store. The core team that will support this store will be based out of Taiwan, but ultimately, there will be about 100 support staff that will be positioned throughout the world.

HTC will not comment specifically on this rumor, only stating that they are always looking for “marketers, developers, technical writers and many more”. In addition to this, the HTC/Kobo deal appears to be more complex then initially thought and will see the companies partner together to expand the HTCSense.com service. Kobo currently manages the company’s electronic book content that is available on HTC mobile phones.

Hasbro plans to introduce its new My3D accessory for the iPhone and iPod touch tomorrow, according to an Associated Press report.
