Motorola Citrus Android 2.1 Smartphone for Verizon Gets Announced, Too
Motorola executives are having an absolute field day of announcing new handsets. Not only have we seen the DROID Pro and Motorola Spice, but they even come forth to announce the Motorola BRAVO, FLIPSIDE and FLIPOUT for AT&T.
Well, just when we thought they were done it seems the company has come forth yet again to announce another handset. This time they are announcing the Motorola CITRUS for Verizon Wireless. This phone features a 3-inch capacitive touchscreen, a Bing’d out web browser with Bing Maps and the like and Google’s Android 2.1 operating system. Unfortunately won’t be running Android 2.2 out of the box but if Motorola doesn’t update it themselves, the hacking community will most likely step in to do the work.,
That’s about all we know about the phone at this point so we’ll have to keep you posted on further reports.
Press release after the break.

How to Get Your Verizon Refund
Okay, so Verizon's agreed to pay $90 million to customers who have incurred erroneous data charges over the past three years. But, what can affected users do to make sure they actually receive their cash? In theory, nothing. The company says that it's currently going through its database to find users who should receive refunds, which will apparently appear in the form of credits on their forthcoming monthly phone bills. Former customers, meanwhile, will receive a refund check in the mail.
Some, however, may not be very willing to trust the accounting practices of a company that reportedly overlooked $90 million in frivolous data charges.
